"

I absolutely loved working with Mrs. Victoria Chapman, she was an essential figure in helping me prepare for my Bat-Mitzvah. Mrs. Chapman helped me select the verses I would read in my parasha, recommending a good length that was manageable to learn as well as good subject matter for my drash. We had around 6-8 months to prepare my parasha and communicated online via video chat, phone call etc. I understood everything, she taught it in a very digestible matter that gave me enough information for my parasha and others if I wished to continue after my Bat-Mitzvah. She would often send me recording of certain sections of my parasha, I found this very helpful since I learn most proficiently audibly. We went over all the subject material I needed or wished to know for my Bat-Mitzvah and her presence in the matter made it much less stressful. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to learn how to read from the torah for their Bar/Bat-Mitzvah or other endeavors. She has a wonderful personality that only adds to her prodigious teaching skills and warm kindness.”

Music Reading

You may even get a little taste of music reading, if interested!  You may even learn to sing a scale or two while we are at it!  Some of my piano playing students have been helped greatly by this option, because they are not used to singing without the piano, and this makes them much more comfortable.
